This thoughtful extension to a heritage listed workers cottage was designed to add a contemporary living for a growing family while still respecting the original vernacular of the Fremantle street in which it sits. The combination of materials like plywood, recycled exposed brick, black commercial grade windows and concrete floors all help add texture and character to the new build and made it a joy to photography all the combining elements.
